Plain language, no legal maze
What the app remembers, and what it doesn't.
The core promise
Individual player positions are never stored - live-only, gone when the game ends.
End-of-game records are team-level summaries only.
The database, honestly
What the database actually stores.
- Positionsone row per player, upserted in place every time you move, wiped the moment the game ends - never a history, never a track.
- Games, teams, playersone row each, for as long as the game is running - deleted with it.
- Accountsplayers have none. Every phone gets one anonymous device ID; nothing behind it identifies you.
- Organizer emailsnot collected yet. Coming when organizer accounts ship, for the people running games - never for players.
What we track
Crash reporting - the honest version
The beta ships with a crash-reporting SDK (Sentry) compiled in but switched OFF - no endpoint is configured, nothing is sent anywhere. If we ever switch it on it will collect crash logs only, never screen recordings (the SDK's session-replay module exists and stays disabled - live-map PII is not a thing we gamble with), and this page will say so before the build that does it ships.
The business model
Free during the beta. Here's the honest math.
Right now everything is open - any game size, every knob, zero cost. That's the field test, and you're part of it.
At launch: players never pay. Ever. Games up to 20 stay free. Bigger games pay by headcount - because a 40-player Sunday costs us real server money every hour it runs, and the organizer already collects entry fees at the gate. That's the whole business model: we charge the people we cost money, and nobody can buy an advantage.
